Development of an academic cloud infrastructure at IIT Delhi

IIT Delhi has indigenously developed an academic cloud, Baadal. It provides a full featured IaaS for academic needs. It is successfully deployed at IIT Delhi and NIC. The next release of Baadal aims at porting Baadal to Openstack.

This talk will focus on Baadal, both its current and upcoming release.

Speaker Info:

Currently a research associate at IIT Delhi, where I am lead developer and architect of next release of Baadal. I have working experience in virtualization and openstack, building large scale webapps using Python and PHP. I have also served as an Assistant Professor in an engineering college for 2.5 years.

I am an open source enthusiast and evangelist.

Can we have some links to your slides or a general structure, some thing that can be used to be put on the projector so audience can follow along.

Have you given any talks(including this one) before? Any experience of public speaking? It's not a requirement for doing the talk but would definitely help us gauge the experience level. We suggest going through the presentation least once in front of a small audience to get some experience if you have not already.
